We, +90 as a part of DW, are pioneering constructive journalism in Turkey, blending traditional and modern approaches, empowerment, and education within Turkey's challenging media landscape. Our key applications:

1. Innovative format trials: +90 explores diverse story formats, emphasising in-depth, solution-focused narratives, and show the potential for positive change.

2. Countering news avoidance: addressing the trend of disengagement caused by negative news, our shift towards co-jo has rejuvenated interest in current affairs and enhanced viewer engagement.

3. Engagement through interaction: we engage our audience directly with interactive content, encouraging them to participate actively in the news process by sharing their stories and ideas. Why constructive journalism is vital for +90? In a polarised and under pressure media landscape such as Turkey's, we believe that offering a balanced and progress-focused content is an important means to build trust and offer hope. For us, co-jo is a way to shift narrative from conflict to resolution and foster a positive public dialogue. Thus, our stories promote collaboration and collective action. We will share our experiences, demonstrate the impact of our journalism, and discuss its transformative power in fostering a more inclusive and proactive media environment in Turkey.
