We are a journalism festival with purpose: to focus on people. That's why our festival is a unique blend of a public event and a professional conference. Media professionals from around the world participate in Europe's only festival for journalism and constructive dialogue in downtown Bonn. They come together to discuss ways to enhance constructive and solution-oriented reporting that fosters dialogue, benefits society and is successful for the industry. We also make journalism tangible and accessible to media consumers of all ages with our public festival in downtown Bonn that is free for everyone to attend. In this way, b° future makes a significant contribution to building trust and competence in the media and promotes dialogue within our society.

As part of the b° future festival community, you engage in conversations with renowned media professionals, promising talents, and dedicated individuals from journalism, science, politics and society. Participation, diversity and inclusion are crucial for our democracy and for forward-looking, perspective-rich journalism. These values are therefore also at the heart of our b° future festival in the international city of Bonn.

It is important to us that people of diverse backgrounds, ages, genders, skin colors, religions, mental and physical abilities, and sexual orientations feel comfortable at the festival. And we ensure that this diversity is visible at our events!
