Florian Vitello is a co-founder of the Good News Magazin, host of the Weltaufgang podcast, contributes to WDR, and is the author of the book Good News – How We Learn to Resist the Flood of Bad News, published by Komplett-Media.
Previously, he worked in editorial roles and advised non-profits on digitalization and PR. He studied anthropology, Latin American studies, and journalism in Hamburg, Montevideo, and Newcastle upon Tyne. During this time, he managed international cooperation projects in Europe, Latin America, and Asia and worked for organizations such as NDR, small NGOs, the BBC, and the Goethe-Institut.
Today, Florian Vitello lives in the Rhineland, specifically in the tranquil city of Bonn, and commutes weekly to his hometown of Cologne, where he also volunteers as the chairman of the non-profit MediaMundo e.V., advocating for media education and empowerment.
