Frederik Richter has been working as a journalist for over 20 years, focusing on business and investigative journalism. He worked for ten years in the Arab world and Southeast Asia, including as a correspondent for the Reuters news agency in Bahrain. Between 2015 and 2022, Richter worked in various capacities for the research center CORRECTIV, researching money laundering and organized crime, among other things, and uncovered numerous cases of fraud and corruption. In 2021, he published the book "Geheimsache Korruption - Wie die deutsche Schmiergeldindustrie weltweit die Demokratie schädigt" ("Corruption: A Secret Matter - How the German Bribery Industry Damages Democracy Worldwide") with the CORRECTIV publishing house. Most recently, Richter headed the investigative department of the BILD newspaper.
