Oleh Dereniuha received his higher education at Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University, majoring in History and Public Administration (local self-government). He participated in educational programs of the Council of Europe (Oxford, Great Britain), the Stockholm School of Economics (Stockholm, Sweden), and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (Berlin, Germany). Since 2012, he has been a correspondent for the online media MykVisti, since 2013 he has been the editor-in-chief. In his work, he specializes in the work of local self-government authorities. In 2016, he organized the studio MykVisti Production, which is engaged in the production of television programs, films, journalistic investigations, and other video productions. Recorded more than 100 interviews with local and all-Ukrainian politicians. Since 2019, it has implemented regular live broadcasts of socially important events in Mykolaiv, including meetings of authorities, rallies, public hearings, and other events.   Dereniuha received the Citizen of the Year 2020 award in the Mass Media category.
