Sven is a kind of jack of all trades: he has worked as an electrician, gardener, salesperson, factory worker, cashier, tinsmith, plumber, call center agent and at a recycling yard. He then found his calling in journalism.
Investigative journalism has always been his passion. Since May 2023, Sven has been working at CORRECTIV CrowdNewsroom in Bern, Switzerland. The crowdsourcing research platform allows them to uncover problems in society in collaboration with the population. He is also studying journalism at the Swiss School of Journalism MAZ. He started working for the Berner student newspaper bsz, the culture magazine Subkutan at Radio RaBe, was a news and regional reporter at Nau, local journalist at the Bernese daily newspaper Der Bund, and has worked as a TV journalist for the national desk, the parliament desk and the business editorial department of Swiss Radio and Television SRF.
