Ulla Fiebig has been director of SWR's Rhineland-Palatinate regional station since February 2022. Before that, she headed the press office of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth in Berlin for just under three years. She also worked for many years as a journalist for radio and television. From June 2016 to October 2018, she was a television correspondent for the ARD capital studio in Berlin. Before that, she was head of the Strategic Corporate Development department at SWR in Stuttgart for almost three years. From March 2011 to December 2013, she was the television correspondent of the ARD Capital Studio in Berlin for the first time. Prior to that, she worked as deputy ARD spokesperson and ARD press office/ARD desk officer during the SWR chairmanship in Stuttgart. From 2007 to 2008 she worked as a reporter/editor for television for "ARD-aktuell" in Mainz and from 1999 to 2007 she worked as a reporter/editor for the news department television "Rheinland-Pfalz aktuell" at SWR in Mainz. In 2001, Ulla Fiebig passed the 1st state law examination at the University of Heidelberg. Before that, she was a freelancer in the world news department at Hitradio FFH and at Radio Regional. She completed her traineeship at Heilbronner Stimme/Radio Regional from 1992 to 1994.
