Vera Schneevoigt was Chief Digital Officer of the Bosch Building Technologies division in Munich. She was also in charge of R&D activities as SVP Engineering.
Before joining the Bosch Group, Vera Schneevoigt was Managing Director at Fujitsu Technology Solutions GmbH, where she was responsible for product development, purchasing, production, logistics and export control, as well as quality management for servers, notebooks (later Lenovo) and storage systems outside Japan. In this position, her focus included the development and introduction of new technologies against the backdrop of advancing digitalization. She also managed the Group's development and production site in Augsburg. Previously, she was Managing Director at Siemens Enterprise Communications, now Unify, a private equity (The Gores Group, Los Angeles) led company responsible for purchasing, plants, quality management and logistics.
She was active for both Fujitsu and Bosch on the board of the Münchner Kreis e.V. as well as in the Münchner Sicherheitsnetzwerk e.V. (Munich Security Network).
Vera Schneevoigt advises representatives of federal and state politics on issues relating to the influence of digitalization on the world of work and attaches great importance to the advancement of women - especially in technical and digital professions. In 2018, she was among the winners of the 25 Women Award of the business platform Edition F, and in 2020 she received the Emotion Award "Women in Leadership".
After the July 2021 flood in the Ahr Valley caused catastrophic destruction very close to her home, she founded the #FlutMut initiative to maintain communication about the people and projects in the Ahr Valley.
She is an advisory board member at Futura GmbH, an IoT start-up in pest control, as well as a board of trustees member at Fraunhofer AISec, Munich.
Furthermore, she supports Wundernova Bildungswerk gGmbH Berlin as a trustee and the same applies to WINNovation, Flensburg.
As a consultant she advises the start-up Silber Salon, Berlin, which focuses on digital education for seniors as well as great2know, a start-up in Frankfurt, which deals with the transfer and securing of knowledge in companies.
Vera Schneevoigt is also involved in the venture network encourageventures e.V. as an investor and mentor.
Currently, together with her husband, she is preparing the Re-Launch 2024 of Guiding for Future GmbH, a start-up that deals with consulting and coaching as well as the engagement for transformation with empathy and resilience and that accompanies companies (SMEs ) and people (executives and employees), especially in crisis and comprehensive change situations, and is supported by an extensive expert network.
